SALT LAYERED SIDETABLE

When a side table takes centre stage.

When Studio Gameiro has an idea (and we do have many), they usually translate into different concepts, sketches, prototypes and then products.
Not everything goes from paper scratch to built form and matter, but we do tend to get things right when it means that we have projects which strive for something unique.
That diversity, and the belief that one good idea can go many ways, was the starting point for theSalt Layered Sidetable table.

We know that nowadays mini, sometimes tiny, tables are all the rage, but they usually lack substance, and even equilibrium.
As we went down a salt mine in the Algarve we thought that we might produce something playful, sturdy but unusual in every angle, and which could become a cornerstone in every home (good books, a glass of wine or mug of Charbonell hot chocolate, or a lamp, are welcomed on top).
So, as the story goes, not every table needs to be put aside. Put it where it fits. Nowadays nobody is quite sure where the centre is.
